Dulse Seaweed Snacking Pieces

Dulse is the pirate of the seaweed world — flamboyant, sultry and untamed. Unlike our Dulse Flakes (perfect for sprinkling), these are whole wild-harvested pieces.

Just tear open the pack and eat it as it is, use on platters or add to cooking.

New to eating seaweed? Start here. Dulse pieces are chewy, savoury and salty — closer a good beef jerky than anything "sea-flavoured." It's become known as the "bacon of the sea", and you'll be surprised how difficult it is to resist a second piece.

How to Enjoy Dulse Pieces

  • Straight from the pack as a savoury snack, any time of day
  • Torn over salads or avocado toast for extra texture and a smoky hit
  • Alongside a cheese board or charcuterie plate — it holds its own next to cured meats
  • Use whole or chop into salads and cooked dishes

Flavour Profile

Smoky and salty — the "bacon of the sea."

Did You Know?

Dulse's deep ruby-red colour comes from phycoerythrin, a natural pigment rich in polyphenols. You may notice a fine white "bloom" on some pieces — that's natural sea-mineral crystallisation, a mark of quality, not a fault.

Ingredients: Palmaria Palmata 100%
Sustainably wild-harvested, product of the United Kingdom.
